As Interim Vice President and General Counsel, Adam provides legal counsel to the President, the Board of Directors, and senior academic and administrative leadership of the University.  In this role, Adam advises on a wide variety of legal issues across all campuses of the University and oversees the team of lawyers and authoritative professionals who work in the Office of General Counsel.  Adam joined Georgetown University in 2011 and has been a frequent contributor to the National Association of Higher and University Attorneys (NACUA) and speaker on legal issues relating to admissions, multifariousness and inclusion, mental health, and athletics.  Prior to coming to Georgetown, Adam worked at the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York where he represented corporations and individuals in a range of circuitous federal and state litigation and authorities investigations.  Adam received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Management from the Wharton Schoolhouse of the University of Pennsylvania and his police force degree from the University of Pennsylvania Police force Schoolhouse.

Casey joined the Academy in May 2020. Before coming to Georgetown, Casey served every bit Senior Associate General Counsel at the University of Idaho, advising on matters related to sponsored research, research compliance, intellectual property, and technology commercialization. Casey received his undergraduate caste in English from Yale University, his doctorate in English language from the University of California, Irvine, and his law degree from Temple University.

Elizabeth joined the Academy in February 2011 from the Washington part of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where she counseled individual investment firms with respect to private equity and hedge fund germination and operations and public companies with respect to matters of compliance with federal securities laws. Before joining Gibson Dunn, she good in the corporate department at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in English from Davidson College and her master of arts in English language and law degree from Duke University.

Paul joined the University in early 2007. Before coming to Georgetown, Paul served for six years every bit Vice President & Deputy General Counsel of PBS, where he provided legal back up and counsel on a wide range of legal and business concern issues including structuring and negotiating complex business transactions; trademark, copyright and intellectual belongings; media and entertainment; technology and Internet-related issues; and complex commercial litigation and risk management. Paul also previously served as Vice President, Full general Counsel & Secretary of CAIS Internet, a Nasdaq Internet service and broadband solutions provider headquartered in Washington, DC. Paul began his in-firm legal career after more than than a decade of police house practice, nearly recently with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1989 and his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Phi Beta Kappa, from the George Washington Academy.

Megan besides previously worked in private practice in the areas of labor and employment law. She received her undergraduate caste in English language from Florida State University and her law degree from the University of Georgia. While in constabulary school, Megan was an Manufactures Editor of the Georgia Constabulary Review. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Social club of the Coif.

Josh Dermott joined the Academy in March 2014.  Prior to coming to Georgetown, Josh served as Associate Director of Legal Resource for the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), a professional association dedicated to advancing the effective practice of college instruction attorneys.  Before that, Josh practiced as an associate in the Washington, DC office of Crowell & Moring LLP.  Josh earned his law degree from American Academy and his undergraduate caste in Political Science from the University of Notre Matriarch, where he was helm of the swim team.

Claudia joined the University in February 2018.  Prior to coming to Georgetown, Claudia practiced as an associate in the Denver office of Jackson Lewis P.C. in the affirmative action and pay equity do groups.  Before that, Claudia served equally Banana Academy Counsel at Southern Methodist Academy in Dallas, focusing on employment matters, Title IX and regulatory compliance, and contract law.  Claudia earned her undergraduate degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley and her police force degree from American University.  While in police force school, Claudia was Senior Articles Editor of the American Academy Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Constabulary.

Elena earned her law caste from NYU School of Constabulary, where she was an Institute for International Police and Justice Scholar and a Casebook Editor for the NYU Moot Court Board.
